Rock-It Cargo started doing business with T.S. Express over 28 years ago. Being that we specialize in moving the entertainment business, it takes a special kind of trucking company to handle it. 95% of my freight is a time call (time specific) pick up and/or delivery. It is at all times of the day and night and on the weekends and they never tell me they can’t cover it for me.
One of the biggest events we handle here in Chicago is Lollapalooza. I have many bands going in and coming out of there through the 4 days that the event goes on. It takes a specialized carrier to be able to deal with the people coordinating the band’s gear and the band managers themselves and T.S. Express handles it for me perfectly. Tim has a special group of drivers that go above and beyond to make sure that the gear gets to the shows on time, every time.

July 4th weekend 2016 we had a crucial time-critical move from Salt Lake City, Utah to Milwaukee for the Summerfest show for Tim McGraw & Faith Hill. Show in Salt Lake City was on Saturday July 2nd and Milwaukee Summerfest was Sunday 3rd July. Back-to-back shows and the only way possible to get the equipment to the Milwaukee show in time was to load a charter aircraft after show in SLC, fly to Milwaukee and have T.S. Express meet the plane on the tarmac to load and hot shot over to the venue to make load in. Flight landed at 5am and Tim’s boys were on the tarmac waiting to assist and ready to go. Thanks to T.S. Express the plane was unloaded and transferred to the truck swiftly and we were actually early for load in at the venue whilst no extra costs were incurred for airport delays.
In addition, T.S. express are always reliable and turn up on time wherever needed making EFM look good. Even at the demanding Lollapalooza festival every year in Chicago they are 100% on all the deliveries and pick ups happening in a festival situation year in, year out. All my operators in the U.S. are in agreement they are a reliable rock solid company and can rest easy when T.S. is handling one of our shipments.

When talking to my international team about our customer’s international air shipments that are getting larger, I just mentioned “see what T.S. Express can do and it was the best idea we had last week!!!!!”
We probably use T.S. Express every day for something, and have for years, but this is what they did for us in this case:
They sent a driver to Iowa to make a 2-stop pickup of 15 skids that could be double-stacked and brought them back to their warehouse. There, they prepped each skid for international air shipment by meeting new TSA regulations for double-banding (two times banding on each side). Then, they stored the skids in their warehouse for us until I made an international air booking. Finally, when the booking was made, they made the delivery to the airline at O’Hare.
Our customer hopefully will be having more of these heavier air shipments upcoming exiting both Iowa and Wisconsin and we know that T.S. Express will always be ready.
